My name is Svetlana. I was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. As a young girl, I watched the beauty of nature, the changing of the seasons, and wanted to create that beauty for others to have and to hold. I discovered the Art of Quilling. I was so impressed by this kind of art that once I started it, I couldn't stop.
Quilling lets me create the beauty that I remembered, to make them in ways that people admire and can keep. The opportunity to make things in a special way for cards, for framed pictures, for 3 dimensional displays, and for additions to origami creations allows me to display my memories and those of others.
